White and cream wedding ceremony and reception flowers at The Lincoln Hotel

The wedding ceremony and reception of R & J was held at the lovely Lincoln Hotel.
The  ceremony is in the Tennyson suite and this was styled with a long and low for the ceremony table (later transferred to the top table) in the same mix as the brides flowers.

The room was set following social distancing rules and with the limited numbers allowed.

We also added our 200cm ivory blossom trees which look fabulous in this space

The covid regulation set room

Our trees really make a statement whatever your colour scheme. Move them around your venue once the ceremony has finished and adorn the entrance to your reception, place either side the top table or drinks/gift/cake table.

The entrance and bar area were treated to 3 small cylinder vases with a rose, freesia and eustoma blooms submerged with crystals and a floating candle.

The drinks reception table enjoyed its own floral display with a mix of scented flowers from the bridal bouquet

Garden roses, stocks and freesia with a mix of eucalyptus

The table plan was to be set by the entrance with its own version of the table displays.

Each table was styled with 3 differing height cylinder vases. The tallest had stocks, then eustoma and the smallest a rose. The flowers were submerged and sat on a bed of clear beads and had a floating candle on top.
Again the tables were following Covid numbers and social distancing measures.

These are pretty yet compact designs for neat classic table settings

The top table was adorned with two vase displays at either end

and after the ceremony the long and low was added in the  centre.

White and cream bridal flowers with eucalyptus

Still looking back at previous weddings, this was the one and only wedding I created during the Covid hit 2020. It may seem long ago to some but this pandemic hit our wedding industry like nothing ever has and probably will again. A business which normally crates 40-50 weddings a year reduced to 1!
This one was a stunner though!!!

The wedding of R & J was the perfect blend of white and cream flowers with plenty of foliage, especially eucalyptus.
The bridal bouquet of roses, stocks, freesia, garden roses, astilbe and eustoma with trailing eucalyptus and gorgeous senecio silver foliage. A lot of these are scented to adding a beautiful extra dimension.

R also requested some silver diamanté's to be included throughout and added to pin the cream satin ribbon in place.

The flowers and foliage lend themselves to the gorgeous country style that is still popular.

This eucalyptus was chosen as it has longer thinner leaves and usually has seed heads too.

The single bridesmaid carried a similar posy but without the trailing foliage and diamanté's.

And the two flower girls carried a small version with a couple of each flower variety and foliage

The groom and his men each wore a single rose buttonhole with a eustoma bloom,  eucalyptus leaf and seed heads, senecio leaf and a sprig of Rosemary for the traditional luck. The stems are bound in cream satin ribbon.

The mother of the bride wore a slightly fuller buttonhole and we added diamanté for a touch of glitz.

All buttonholes are presented pinned on a board and can be labelled for ease on the day.

I always appreciate when couples send over a few professional photos of the day. Unfortunately I wasn't given their name, so if these are yours please get in touch.

The next post will be the ceremony and reception flowers from this gorgeous wedding.
If you love these designs and/or colour scheme and would like to chat through your own designs please get in touch

White and blue ceremony and reception flowers at The Lincoln Hotel

The second part of a lovely country styled wedding.
The ceremony and reception were held at The Lincoln Hotel.
We carried on the white and blue colour scheme and along with the carnations and delphinium we added astrantia, astilbe, santini and alstroemeria.
The ceremony table had 3 jars of mixed flowers along with a few wooden branches to tie the look together,

Simple yet effective jars of flowers which would later be moved to the top table.

Each of the guest tables would have a grouping of 3 jars set on a wood slice.

Differing height jars and flowers give the blooms room and stop them being 'in the way' for your guests.

Just occasionally, (very rarely) the tables at a venue are just not ready for setting and time runs out for my delivery schedule. In these instances, especially at a hotel like The Lincoln, I can leave the displays set as I and the bride requested and the wonderful team will set them on the tables. It is at times like these that you know you are working with a great venue.

Thank you bouquets.
These are taken to reception and hidden from your guests until you are ready to present at the speeches.

If you love this style of design or the mix of flowers and colours and would like to incorporate into your own day please get in touch to discuss your options.

At The Lincoln Hotel I am one of their preferred suppliers and these are one of many options within their top package that include the table flowers.

White and blue wedding flowers

A small intimate wedding with the bride's favourite flower ....Carnations.
They may have a poor reputation but I still love these flowers. The colours can be fabulous and they are long lasting AND budget friendly.
Any ways back to this wedding. The bride loved her carnations and with the colour scheme being white and blue we went with a white variety. The blue was added with a single stem of deep blue delphinium. A simple bouquet was requested, and hopefully achieved. 5 pure white carnations with the delphinium laid on a bed of variegated pittosporum with flowing beargrass for movement. All tied with an eco friendly hessian bow.

The single bridesmaid carried a group of carnations with a hint of blue in the addition of a few delphinium florets surrounded by pitto.

The stems were bound fully with hessian.

The groom matched his bride wearing a single carnation buttonhole with delphinium florets and pitto leaves. Stems bound with twine to carry on the country and eco vibe.

The groomsmen each wore a single carnation buttonhole.

Our buttonholes are presented pinned on a covered board

and these can be labelled if you so choose.

The bridal flowers are presented in one of our recycled flower boxes and cushioned with recycled paper or packing from our deliveries and ultimately laid on a layer of new tissue paper.

Each bride has a unique idea on her flowers. Large or small budgets are designed with the upmost care and at present we have no minimum spend.
If you love our flowers and would like to discuss your options please get in touch.
