Country style bride bouquet with gyp bridesmaid flowers

A pretty spring wedding with country style bride's bouquet.
Some flowers can be overlooked for weddings but are perfectly cute and help you keep to budget. This bouquet included, alstroemeria, santini chrysants, gyp, eustoma and ferns, ivy and herbs. Creating a gorgeous trailing hand tie.

Pretty pink blooms with gyp interwoven throughout and stems bound with twine to match the country style of the day.

Alstroemeria and santini chrysants come in many colours and with many flowers per stem are real value for your money.

Purple, Yellow and Ivory wedding flowers

Last Saturday was the wedding of S & R. This was a last minute wedding after their original supplier pulled out. S rang me and talked through her immediate disappointment and asked if I could help her out. The date was available and we booked an appointment to go through all her options. She more or less booked then and there and was more than happy with the process and quote thereafter.

I absolutely loved the colours! I love the pales and pastels but just occasionally a brighter more unusual colour comes in and it really helps keeps flowers interesting. (And I love love purple!)

Purples with yellow and ivory, lots of lovely freesia, purple eustoma, yellow sol and ivory roses, with a few David Austin Patience for an added punch of scent.

Lots of foliage was required including herbs. Pistachio, Myrtle, Rosemary and ferns were used in the bouquets.

The scent from all these bouquets was sensational. (Even for someone working with them all day.)

The four bridesmaids carried posies similar to the bride's bouquet but without the purple eustoma.

The groom wore a natural style buttonhole with yellow freesia, sol, purple eustoma and ivory spray roses, with myrtle and thyme and Rosemary.

His best man wore a similar design

while the other groomsmen wore a single eustoma bloom with sol and a mix of herb foliage.

The Mother of the Bride wore a gorgeous corsage of a mix of flowers from the bride's bouquet including a lush David Austin rose and ivy foliage.

The Mother of the Groom wore a slightly different design of the smaller flowers, herbs and fern.

The other special guests were presented with a single ivory rose with gyp and twine bound stems.

We always deliver the buttonholes and corsages on presentation boards and can, if requested, label them all so the right design goes ton the right person. Remember you won't be there, or are busy getting ready, make life easy for your guests and you won't be bothered with the small stuff.

Our bouquets for the bridal party are laid in boxes filled with stuffing, paper and a final layer of acid free tissue paper.

Do you love these bouquets? Want this colour combination or another unusual theme? We can help out. Your colours, your day. Don't let anyone say a combination can't/shouldn't be created. Your personality should shine out and if you are a bright person your colours shouldn't be pale and pastel!

I am happy to talk through any colour combos for your wedding. Get in touch today to start working towards your dream flowers.

Washingborough Hall wedding flowers

Sarah and her lovely groom held their wedding breakfast and party at the gorgeous Washingborough Hall Hotel. This is a truly lovely venue and it is always a pleasure to be asked to style this space.
We continued with the natural style and lavender and gyp theme for the tables.

The top table had 2 lovely wooden crates with roses, freesia, stocks, lavender, gyp and a variety of fresh herbs such as sage, myrtle and rosemary.

These cute hurricane jars with gyp and lavender with dotted along the top table too.

All the guest tables (8) each had a crate design similar to the top table.

The combination of the herbs, lavender, freesia and stocks filled the room with a glorious summer scent.

The Winston Room at Washingborough Hall is a lovely light space to hold your wedding reception.

The crate designs were made so as the guests could take the flowers away but with budget in mind the crates were hired.

The groomsmen carried the pedestals and pew ends back from the church to add yet more flowers to the proceedings.

The cake flowers were left for the lovely cake lady to attach.

If you are holding any part of your wedding at Washingborough Hall and would like to discuss styling your flowers please get in touch with your wedding date for availability.
