Wedding flowers at Windmill Farm Lincoln

The wedding flowers of S & B part 3.
The reception venue the couple chose was Windmill Farm Lincoln.
This is a lovely large room with onsite accomadation for you and your guests, plenty of parking too.

The bride had chosen and collected these gorgeous blue Whitley Gin bottles (a good excuse to drink more gin!) for the centrepieces. She then chose a flower ring to sit them in continuing with the white and blue flower theme. To match the bouquets we included white roses, freesia and blue cornflowers and for extra filler asters and stallion chrysants with mixed foliage.

Dark blue runners were perfect to help the flowers stand out on the white linen.

The wedding room all set and decorated for the arrival of the bride and groom.

A quick look behind the scenes, the van all loaded and ready to take out the flowers. It takes time, and a lot of thought to load when a wedding has so many elements to be delivered. Packing the flowers safely and securely but in an order that will help with unpacking at each destination.

White and blue wedding flowers

The gorgeous summer wedding of S & B.
The colours of this wedding were inspired from Gin bottles! The gorgeous Whitley gin blue bottles.
The brides bouquet was a stunning mix of small white roses and freesia with deep blue cornflowers and the delicate forget me nots.

These were nestled in amongst small leaved variegated pitto.

The posy stems were bound in luxurious ivory satin ribbon.

The couple chose to have 4 bridesmaids and they carried posies of white roses and freesia with forget me nots and pitto foliage

All the gorgeous bouquets together

All ready for delivery to the bride and her maids

The groom wore a stunning corsage style buttonhole of white freesia and for get me nots.

While the groomsmen each wore a freesia buttonhole.

The buttonholes ready for delivery.

The happy couple had a church wedding followed by a reception at Windmill farm. These will be blogged on future dates, keep a look out.

The Lincoln Hotel package flowers

The wedding flowers of Katherine and her groom.
This couple chose The Lincoln Hotel as their venue and one of the packages which included the table designs. I am one of the hotels preferred supplies and was asked to create simple low designs with blue and white hydrangea, blue thistles, white and peach roses along with gyp and eucalyptus.
The ceremony (later the top table) design was a simple long and low with the chosen flowers and mixed foliage.

The guest tables were decorated with a mixed bunch of their blooms displayed in my hurricane vase.

These are fully included in the hotel package along with set up and delivery.
Many other styles/types of designs can be created within the package, just let me know your ideas!

As always my photos don't do the flowers justice and it is always appreciated to get some professional images.

If you are getting married at The Lincoln Hotel please get in touch to discuss your style and options for your flowers.

Burgundy and white bridal flowers

Bridal posies can be whatever you want them to be.
This bride was clear on using white roses and foliage with 3 deep red dahlia and a few pine cones. A compact design yet with a messy outline, not neat and tidy.
We love brides who embrace foliage. The bridal bouquet used seeded eucalyptus

while the four bridesmaid bouquets had asparagus ferns densiflorus and setaceus teamed with the eucalyptus and white roses.

The 7 groomsmen each wore a single white rose with asparagus and eucalyptus leaves.

A small yet elegant wedding party whom we are always happy to design flowers for.
We don't have a minimum spend for your flowers as we believe anyone should be able to have gorgeous flowers whatever their budget or size of wedding.

Wedding reception at Hemswell Court

Cake topper
Emma's wedding was an intimate affair and as such was able to host the wedding breakfast in Hemswell Court's Dining room. This is a stunning room with two proper old dining tables and matching furniture.

Emma wanted to keep the table designs similar to her bouquet but to be able to use them as gifts afterwards.

I designed these cute pots covered in white satin and trimmed them with a blue bow. They are filled with Akito (white) roses and agapanthus heads with gyp and blue eucalyptus.

The dining room at Hemswell Court all set for the happy couple and their guests.

White and blue brides bouquet and buttonholes

Emma's wedding took place last July and her style was simple designs mainly in white but with a hint of blue. She chose a lovely hand tie of akito (white) roses surrounded by a cloud of gyp and with 'pipped' agapanthus flowers in between the roses. The stems were then bound with white satin ribbon.

Emma didn't have any bridesmaids but I provided rose buttonholes  for the wedding party.
The men each wore a single Akito rose with a sprig of Rosemary and blue eucalyptus leaves.
The ladies were each given a small corsage of a single white rose with three agapanthus florets, a sprig of gyp and Rosemary and blue eucalyptus leaves.
