White and blue wedding flowers

A small intimate wedding with the bride's favourite flower ....Carnations.
They may have a poor reputation but I still love these flowers. The colours can be fabulous and they are long lasting AND budget friendly.
Any ways back to this wedding. The bride loved her carnations and with the colour scheme being white and blue we went with a white variety. The blue was added with a single stem of deep blue delphinium. A simple bouquet was requested, and hopefully achieved. 5 pure white carnations with the delphinium laid on a bed of variegated pittosporum with flowing beargrass for movement. All tied with an eco friendly hessian bow.

The single bridesmaid carried a group of carnations with a hint of blue in the addition of a few delphinium florets surrounded by pitto.

The stems were bound fully with hessian.

The groom matched his bride wearing a single carnation buttonhole with delphinium florets and pitto leaves. Stems bound with twine to carry on the country and eco vibe.

The groomsmen each wore a single carnation buttonhole.

Our buttonholes are presented pinned on a covered board

and these can be labelled if you so choose.

The bridal flowers are presented in one of our recycled flower boxes and cushioned with recycled paper or packing from our deliveries and ultimately laid on a layer of new tissue paper.

Each bride has a unique idea on her flowers. Large or small budgets are designed with the upmost care and at present we have no minimum spend.
If you love our flowers and would like to discuss your options please get in touch.

Blue Delphiniums at Doddington Hall

H and I held their wedding reception at the beautiful coach house at Doddington Hall. Their wedding party flowers are here
The theme was a country style but they wanted to keep the table designs very simple but a little unusual. We went through a few designs but they really liked the simplicity of jam jars and chose a single jar with a delphinium spike surrounded with gyp.

These liked lovely on the tables

and we placed 4 jars on the top table too.

The Coach House at Doddington Hall

The beautiful top table and a guest table.

This is a lovely venue, very spacious and light, with a full sided window which opens up onto a beautiful courtyard garden.

The ceremony table within the Hall itself was adorned with a beautiful country crate filled with roses, delphiniums, eustoma and gyp.
This would later be placed on the top table.

If you are holding your wedding here at Doddington Hall you can view other set ups we have styled by searching labels, Venue:Doddington Hall

We are more than happy to talk you through your flower options, large or small, and would love to met you. To book either ring/email or book a slot online

Stunning blue wedding set up at Cleatham Hall

A couple of weeks ago this wedding finally happened!! It has been booked for so long and it didn't disappoint.
O & S opted for lots of blue for their flowers and chose many designs from previous work, adding their own take to make them personal to their day.
The groom's buttonholes were a glorious blue mix of Iris, Nigella, Delphinium floret and hydrangea flowers with ivy foliage.

The rest of the groomsmen were basically the same design, as were the lovely chair decorations, see video.

New phone, new settings, thought I was taking photos during the video, but alas no.

The whole wedding was set at Cleatham Hall, one of my favourite venues and always a pleasure to set up at.
The top table was a lovely long and low design of gorgeous ivory roses, blue hydrangea, iris (being very stubborn and refusing to bloom) with purple eustoma and lots of foliage.

One of my favourite places to display flowers, Cleatham Hall's fireplace! Such a stunning setting on it's own but with a full mantlepiece display the WOW factor is off the scale.
Beautiful delphinium spikes, hydrangea balls, iris, Nigella, eustoma and ivory roses with gorgeous locally sourced foliage.

The guest tables were treated to two different types of display. The first, our large cream bird cages, sat on a flowery base of roses, hydrangea, nigella, iris and gyp with lots more foliage.

The second, our tall conical vases with a stunningly beautiful display of pale blue delphinium spikes, surrounded with gyp all sat on a base of variegated ivy.
The lovely orangery, here at the hall can certainly take the height and all in all a simple elegant design to match the decor.

They certainly took your breath away on entering the room.

Cleatham Hall also has these beautiful alcoves on the stairwell and it always seems a shame not to decorate them. All guests staying the night or getting ready here will walk down past these

and what a sight to behold on the way to say your vows.

The beautiful delphinium table display in all it's glory

A beautiful blue, pink and white summer wedding

These gorgeous wedding flowers are from Laura's wedding who married in June. A lovely mix of summer blooms in blue, pink and white.
The bridal bouquet was a mix of delphiniums, nigella, pink roses, white eustoma, chrysants and a few stems of Lily of the Valley nestled in amongst the main blooms. The foliage is Thalaspi and tree fern. The outline was messy and style nothing too formed or placed.

Beautiful summer mix of flowers

The four bridesmaids carried a similar style bouquet with pink roses, nigella, eustoma and chrysants and foliage.

All stems had ivory satin ribbon bound around them.

The flower girl posy was a smaller  version of above. She was so cute on delivery wanting to show everyone her flowers.

All bouquets together.

The groom and best man wore matching buttonholes of eustoma, lily of the valley, chrysant flower and delphinium florets with thalaspi foliage.

Stems had ivory ribbon detail

The cute page boy wore a single eustoma flower with buds and sprig thalaspi. This is mounted on a small safety pin.

The rest of the groomsmen wore a buttonhole of white eustoma and thalspi.

The ladies all had a traditional corsage of a pale pink rose, eustoma, lily of the valley and gyp

All our buttonholes are presented to the bridal party of a board, all having pins.

The bouquets are delivered in a box with lots of cushioning and wrapping to protect the blooms.

These are packed last for delivery, kept in water right up to the last minute, ensuring freshness for their job ahead.

We can talk through your ideas, colours and style and come up with magical designs for your special day. Looking forward to speaking with you soon.
