Coral, peach and white wedding flowers

When I first met Vikki she knew what she didn't want in her flowers, roses. They had become so popular that she felt she wanted something else for their special day. We talked through likes and dislikes and came up with orchids and lilies. Now I had not put these together before but anything is worth looking at. Vicki liked a shower bouquet I had created previously but wanted it to reflect her colours, coral, peach and white. This is the combination that came out of that discussion:
White phalaenopsis orchids with peach asiatic lily, berries, eustoma, and stocks and a darker alstroemeria and white veronica. Fern, ivy and cuscus were added for the foliage.

The single bridesmaid carried a posy with a small mix of the brides flowers, all bound together with complimentary satin ribbon.

One of the mum's carried a lovely clutch bag with a beautiful corsage attached of orchid, eustoma, veronica and berries.

The groom wore a tied boutonnier of eustoma, alstroemeria, veronica and berries

The other mum wore a lapel corsage of an orchid, eustoma, veronica and berries

The rest of the bridal party wore a buttonhole of veronica, berries and foliage.

Part 2 is tomorrow of the wedding breakfast at Hemswell Court.

White and Ivory Bridal Flowers

Rosea’s wedding flowers were to be kept neutral in colour but
elegant at the same time.  We chose an assortment of classic and
seasonal flowers (April) with roses (spray and bloom), Phalaenopsis
orchids, lilac, stocks, calla lilies with asparagus fern.

White Shower Bouquet
This bouquet is in my top 5 from last year, look stunning and the
scent was gorgeous.

‘posy’ part below. One colour in varying shades needn’t be bland,
using different sizes and shapes gives interest to the design.

The bridesmaids each carried a hand tied posy of a small selection
of the same flowers and foliage.

Gainsborough Old Hall Wedding Fayre

Way back at the beginning of September I attended The Gainsborough Old Hall's wedding fayre. I am a preferred supplier here and it is always a privilege to arrange flowers in such a stunning venue.
My large, 70cm, martini vase. As it was autumn I kept to seasonal colours. I love these they add plenty of height to the guest tables yet allow people to see each other and allows conversation across the table.
A silver candlestick design with a difference. Suitable for either end of the top table or a buffet table or on a bar. Again seasonal colours and flowers with poppy heads, roses, ivy, holly, hydrangea and eustoma.
A modern trailing bouquet. A mix of avalanche, sweet avalanche, hydrangea and phalaenopsis orchids. The flowers sat on a nest of Ivy and pink aluminium wire.

Orchid and germini wedding flowers

Cheryl's wedding flowers were based around the colours of the bridesmaids dresses, burgundy and ivory. She wanted something unusual for her bouquet but liked gerberas for her maids. We eventually settled on a hand-tie of phalaenopsis orchids, red lips, and ivory germini with a nest of burgundy wire and beads. A single stem of orchids trailed down from the design.
The older bridesmaids, wearing burgundy, carried a hand-tie of a single burgundy germini surrounded by ivory germini and a collar of aspidistra leaves. The stems are bound with burgundy ribbon.
The smaller bridesmaids, wearing ivory, carried a smaller bouquet with the reverse colours.
The groom wore a single ivory germini buttonhole with burgundy wire detailing.
The grooms-men wore a single ivory germini buttonhole.
The two mums wore a single phalaenopsis orchid with germini petals and mixed foliage.
