Bailgate Wedding fair - Flowers

On Sunday I will be exhibiting at The Bailgate Wedding fair.

If you are looking for any supplier for your day then this fair has some fabulous ones to choose from.

I will once again be in The Lincoln Hotel (top right side of the map). I am excited to now one of their preferred suppliers, so book your flowers with confidence with me. Lots to see on the day. Ask me any flower related questions and let me guide you to your perfect blooms.

I will have a couple of offers available for couples on the day. (book a consultation and the offer will be applied on agreeing and booking your flowers)

If you have a package that includes flowers with The Lincoln Hotel, please talk to me with what I can offer you within your deal. I have many table designs for you to choose from and am always open to ideas to make them unique to you.

Sandra's Flower Studio at Grimsby auditorium wedding fair

Did you go along to the Grimsby wedding fair on 17th September? We were in the leisure centre with our flowers. If you stopped by and spoke to us, thank you, and if you signed up for our newsletter the first should have arrived by now.

If you didn't go, or need a refresher, this was our stand. We displayed some new designs for the upcoming wedding season and some went down a storm, really happy with the response.

This was by far the most popular design of the day. Very rustic and country looking table centrepiece which on the day had sedum, ammi, eustoma, echiveras and lovely seasonal foliage.

Our watering cans were also popular, an ideal centrepiece for smaller budget weddings but still oh so pretty.

If you are wanting something larger, our bird cage design on a bed of seasonal flowers may suffice?

Lots of lush country flowers such as hydrangea, aster and sedum.

For a more classic style our mercury vases add a touch of glamour. These were filed with roses, anthuriums, eustoma, carnations and spider chrysants.

Our rustic arch was also a hit. Hire and decorate or we can supply everything. Beautiful organza drapes with foliage garland wrapped around and 2 gorgeous flower displays to gather. Add in some logs and rustic lanterns to complete the style. A perfect setting to say 'I do' either outside or can be set up inside, depending on your venue.

Judges Lodgings - Bailgate wedding fair

We are looking back to some of the wedding fares we have exhibited at.

Below are 2 of the set up from The Judges Lodgings as part of The Bailgate Wedding fair.

This lovely pink themed one has many ideas for your day.

The gorgeous rustic archway, which you can either say 'I Do' underneath, have in you group photos as a back drop or behind the top table (or a combination of all 3!!)

It can be decorated in many ways but here we have corner designs of hydrangea, protea, gerbera, amaranths, roses and gyp.

The whole display to catch your eye as you enter the room.

Chair back fresh roses, how divine would that scent be for your guests?

Our crystal gem chimney candelabra, 100cm tall, hired with church candles. Here displayed with foliage garland entwined around the arms and stem. Hanging from each arm is a single rose with crystal pin attachment. Colours can be matched to your theme.

A hand tie posy of roses, gerbera, hydrangea, gyp and thalaspi foliage. Perfect for a pretty pink wedding.

Mercury vases can be filled with all manor of flowers; here we have a country style of carnations, hydrangea, chrysants and gyp with ears of corn and thalaspi.

What about a watering can for your guest tables? Keeping the country/garden style theme, these were filled with pink roses, gerbera, gyp corn, pheasant feathers and foliage.

Wedding Fayres

Are you planning a wedding for 2017 or 2018? Or looking for those last minute items for your autumn or winter wedding this year?

All venues are stunning in their own way (if you are right at the beginning of your planning, all (*except Grimsby) hold wedding ceremonies from intimate do's to full blown affairs) and all have a different style to them.

Wedding Fayres 1st and 2nd March

This weekend is a busy one for me with two wedding fayres to attend.

Firstly I will be at The Isaac Centre Grantham on Saturday 10am - 4pm.

This is a new fayre for me and hope to see some lovely new brides. I get quite a few enquiries from Grantham so am really hoping to speak to lots of you in person. 

If you are looking at booking your wedding flowers or just looking to hire some items for your reception come along and see what offers I have for you. Bookings still being taken for this year, availability dependent, and the book is open for 2015.

The second fayre is The Bailgate wedding fayre, one I have done now for the last few years twice a year. 

 I am as usual, in The Judges Lodgings in The Bailgate. A lovely venue for the smaller wedding. They can cater for receptions with limited numbers but I know brides who have had their service here then had a larger reception at The Old Palace, which will also be open with some fabulous suppliers in. (Amaranthyne wedding planning, Pictures to Treasure, Lincolnshire Lanterns to name a few)

With me will be Emma from Elegant Touches and Hines Photography and hopefully a few others.

I will again have some offers available on the day so whether you're looking for 2014 or 2015 come along and say hi.

Other venues taking part are The Lincoln hotel, The White Hart Hotel and Charlotte House. The Assembly rooms are also holding an open day.

The Lincs Wedding show

Yesterday's wedding fayre at The Grimsby Auditorium was a fantastic day. Very well attended with a good mix of suppliers to keep everyone happy. This added to a great layout meant brides and grooms had the chance of walking past everyone and kept the flow going.
Personally I think it was one of my best fayres with bookings taken and consults booked, if you are one of those brides I will be in touch very soon. If you spoke to me and left your details, again, I will be in touch.
I handed out so many leaflets and spoke to so many couples, I look forward to hearing from some of you soon.
As I was so busy I didn't really get to have a good look around myself but I did speak to Julie of Bon Appetite, Julian of Pictures to Treasure and the guys from All occasion Casinos. To see who else was there click here.

Thrumpton Hall Wedding Open day

Don't forget, I shall be exhibiting at Thrumpton Hall wedding open day this Sunday 11am - 3pm. Come along and see some gorgeous flowers. I will be in the marquee but the Hall is open for a look around too!

Wedding fayres

If you are recently engaged, congratulations! Don't know where to begin with planning your day? Then come along to a wedding fayre or two and see some lovely wedding suppliers.
Don't worry, I won't be pushy! I will answer any questions you may have with regards to wedding flowers, be it what designs you might want to what flowers are in season and when or something to match in with your chosen colour. I can advise on bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, ideas for flower girls, church or venue designs. There will be a few displays to help give you an idea on what is available and I always take along some portfolios for further ideas and suggestions.

Belton House wedding fayre

Thank you to all all the lovely brides, grooms and mums I spoke to yesterday. It is always fascinating to hear your ideas on making this special day truly your own. There were plenty of different and fun ideas out there and if you are only at the very start of your wedding planning, as many were, take all the ideas in and enjoy the ride. Wedding fayre update

A quick post today as I have been busy with sorting out quotes.

I shall be exhibiting at Gainsborough Old Hall's wedding fayre on Sunday 28 April. I shall be in The West Range where I have been on previous occasions. Please come along to see this fabulous venue and its suppliers.

I shall also be involved somehow in Elsham Hall's open weekend. I'm not quite sure what I shall be providing but once Elaine has a theme in mind I shall have more information for you. Keep checking for updates.

Wedding fayres

I will be attending two wedding fayres in the near future so save these dates to your diary.

24th February Wedcraft at The Lincolnshire showground. This is going to be different from the normal fayre with all exhibitors being asked to base there displays around vintage or DIY. There will be DIY wedding inspiration with some workshops and demonstrations. It is free to attend but booking is essential. Click here to book your complimentary tickets.

3rd March The Bailgate wedding fayre. This is a fabulous fayre to attend with most of the venues in the area open for you to view. Those taking part are:

10th March Belton House wedding fayre. I shall be providing flowers for an exciting new wedding package available for Belton House and a few other venues. Details yet to be finalised, but it is worth waiting for! Keep an eye out for details. Unfortunately as this falls on Mothering Sunday I shall be unable to attend myself as I shall, hopefully, be a busy bee and making lots of mums happy with flower deliveries. There will be plenty of information available on the day from other suppliers involved.

Judges Lodgings wedding fair

This was last years Bailgate wedding fayre where I exhibited in The Judges Lodgings. 

This is a great fayre to attend as most of the venues in the area are open for you to view and talk to the staff, allowing you to compare each one. Each has its own strength giving brides a range of options in a fabulous location.

An overarm bouquet of mango calla lily, cream ostrich feathers and black tie leaves.

A hand-tie bouquet of ivory roses, teasels, cones, lavender and rosemary.

Tied with a lovely green spotted ribbon.

I am attending the next Bailgate wedding fayre on 3rd March and have asked to be in The Judges Lodgings again but have yet to have this finalised.
