White and cream bridal flowers with eucalyptus

Still looking back at previous weddings, this was the one and only wedding I created during the Covid hit 2020. It may seem long ago to some but this pandemic hit our wedding industry like nothing ever has and probably will again. A business which normally crates 40-50 weddings a year reduced to 1!
This one was a stunner though!!!

The wedding of R & J was the perfect blend of white and cream flowers with plenty of foliage, especially eucalyptus.
The bridal bouquet of roses, stocks, freesia, garden roses, astilbe and eustoma with trailing eucalyptus and gorgeous senecio silver foliage. A lot of these are scented to adding a beautiful extra dimension.

R also requested some silver diamanté's to be included throughout and added to pin the cream satin ribbon in place.

The flowers and foliage lend themselves to the gorgeous country style that is still popular.

This eucalyptus was chosen as it has longer thinner leaves and usually has seed heads too.

The single bridesmaid carried a similar posy but without the trailing foliage and diamanté's.

And the two flower girls carried a small version with a couple of each flower variety and foliage

The groom and his men each wore a single rose buttonhole with a eustoma bloom,  eucalyptus leaf and seed heads, senecio leaf and a sprig of Rosemary for the traditional luck. The stems are bound in cream satin ribbon.

The mother of the bride wore a slightly fuller buttonhole and we added diamanté for a touch of glitz.

All buttonholes are presented pinned on a board and can be labelled for ease on the day.

I always appreciate when couples send over a few professional photos of the day. Unfortunately I wasn't given their name, so if these are yours please get in touch.

The next post will be the ceremony and reception flowers from this gorgeous wedding.
If you love these designs and/or colour scheme and would like to chat through your own designs please get in touch

Ivory and dusky pink rose wedding posies

These are the gorgeous bouquets that Rebecca had for her wedding a few weeks ago. Very simple designs of roses and gyp but they complimented her dress and style wonderfully.

The bridal bouquet was a posy of ivory and dusky pink roses surrounded by a cloud of gyp.

No foliage was to be included at all!

These roses were gorgeous and scented.

The three bridesmaids each carried a posy of ivory roses and gyp to compliment their dusky pink dresses.

The three maids bouquets together

And with the bridal posy too.

The bride also wore flowers in her hair of ivory spray roses and gyp

The groom wore a gorgeous double buttonhole of both roses and some gyp

The groomsmen wore ivory rose and gyp buttonholes

While mum wore a wrist corsage of double rose, gyp and small amount of foliage.

The other ladies wore dusky pink rose and gyp buttonholes.
No foliage in any buttonholes on the brides request.

The buttonholes all ready for presentation to the wedding party

The bridal posies all ready for the reveal to the bride.

Ivory roses and gyp wedding flowers

This wedding from November is very simple but very pretty bouquets of ivory roses and gyp.
The brides bouquet was small ivory roses with gyp and ruscus foliage mixed through and around the roses.

The stems were bound with white satin ribbon.

The two bridesmaids carried a smaller bouquet of 3 ivory roses with a cloud of gyp and foliage as a collar.

Stems bound as brides, with white satin ribbon

The flower girl carried a small bouquet of a single rose with a small cloud of gyp.

The stems were bound completely with satin ribbon for comfort for little hands.

The groomsmen wore a single ivory rose and leaf

The ladies wore a single ivory rose with sprigs of gyp and foliage surround.

The presentation box ready for hand over to the bride.

Peony rose and daisy wedding flowers

Alice already had a vision for her flowers but wasn't sure if it would all work in reality. She really wanted to have peonies and roses but wanted to incorporate daisies into the mix as well. Not a usual mixing of flower varieties but anything is worth looking at. The colour scheme chosen was white and a delicate pink and these work really well with peonies and roses. The daisies also have yellow middles so we discussed whether this would be a problem, other than that we saw no reason to not put the mix together. Add in eucalyptus foliage and you have a truly lovely bouquet filled with scent.

The single bridesmaid carried a mix of pink and white roses with daisies and eucalyptus.

The two bouquets had lace wrapped around the stems to compliment the bride's dress.

The two mum's wore a corsage of a pink and an ivory rose plus a few daisies with Rosemary foliage.

The groom and main groomsmen wore a boutonniere of an ivory rose, freesia florets, rosemary and eucalyptus leaves.

The rest of the bridal party wore a single ivory rose with eucalyptus.

The buttonholes are pinned onto a board for delivery.
These can be labelled if required.

If you have something different in mind for your bouquet but not sure whether it will work please get in touch to discuss your options. If it is doable we are happy to provide, whether in our style/taste or not. We at The Studio never forget it is your day. We look forward to hearing from you.
