Charlotte House hotel reception

Alice's reception was held at the lovely Charlotte House hotel. The table centres were my small black cocktail vases with a corsage of ivory roses and gyp. The 'vase' was filled with crush glass ice and two 'straws' of snake grass were added for the cocktail look.
The vases looked stunning on the guest tables which had a minimal, clean look.

The top table display was a long and low of mainly roses with added alstroemeria, germini, September and gyp.
I also provided two tank you displays which were a summery mix of ivory, blue and cream.

St Mary's Minster Stow

Lauren's wedding service was at the gorgeous St Mary's at Stow. Dating back to at least 975 it is believed to have originated as the Mother church of Lincoln Cathedral. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
As a Minster it is rather larger than your average local church but fortunately the main wedding service and guests are in one area.
We decided that two pedestals at the ceremony steps would be ideal and would break up the distance to the altar.
The pedestals were mainly the same flowers as the bridal bouquets with purple eustoma and September flower with Ivory roses, germini, astilbe, wax flower with cream chrysants.
The pew ends were a mix of flowers and bows with the flowers being three ivory germini, wax flower and tree fern.
Each pew end is slightly different as they are so old
and some have had to be replaced.

Purple and white bridal flowers

A lovely purple and ivory wedding with gorgeous summer flowers.
The brides bouquet consisted of purple freesia, September flower and eustoma and ivory germini, roses, astilbe and wax flower with tree fern.
Designed in a hand tied with purple satin ribbon around the stems.
Laura's bridesmaids carried a similar style bouquet with ivory satin ribbon around the stems.

All the buttonholes were delivered with the bridal flowers, to be handed out by the father of the bride. The groomsmen each wore a single ivory rose with fern.
The groom wore a collection of flowers from the brides bouquet in the two colours

while the ladies wore a corsage all in ivory, roses, astilbe and wax flower with fern.

Orchid and germini wedding flowers

Cheryl's wedding flowers were based around the colours of the bridesmaids dresses, burgundy and ivory. She wanted something unusual for her bouquet but liked gerberas for her maids. We eventually settled on a hand-tie of phalaenopsis orchids, red lips, and ivory germini with a nest of burgundy wire and beads. A single stem of orchids trailed down from the design.
The older bridesmaids, wearing burgundy, carried a hand-tie of a single burgundy germini surrounded by ivory germini and a collar of aspidistra leaves. The stems are bound with burgundy ribbon.
The smaller bridesmaids, wearing ivory, carried a smaller bouquet with the reverse colours.
The groom wore a single ivory germini buttonhole with burgundy wire detailing.
The grooms-men wore a single ivory germini buttonhole.
The two mums wore a single phalaenopsis orchid with germini petals and mixed foliage.
