The Reeds Hotel, Barton on Humber

Marie and Elliot held their reception at The Reeds Hotel at Barton on Humber.

As it was quite a small wedding the tables were set up as a U with guests sitting either side of the 'legs' and the bride and groom and bridal party on the top table.

The table arrangements therefore needed to be fairly compact and Marie had already decided on small candelabras when she first got in touch with me.

To keep with the colour scheme of the wedding and to keep the displays light and fresh we decided to keep to ivory and green for the flowers: Avalanche roses and ivory eustoma with 'feeling green' chyrsants and bear grass. There were six decorated candelabras in total with two plain silver ones.

The candelabras and candles were hired from Lincolnshire Lanterns.

A silver candelabra.

Marie also asked if she provided some small glass cubes could they be decorated and placed between the candelbras. I used pale pink sweet avalanche roses and bear grass on a bed of 'ice'.

The cake was a lovely ivory iced fairly simple cake which was decorated and made personal with two layers of avalanche and sweet avalanche roses, along with pale green organza ribbon and lengths of diamontes.

All ready for the arrival of the bride and groom.
