Peony and germinis

Jayne and Gareth first met me at The Lincoln wedding fayre and almost all of our correspondence was done via e-mail with them living 'up north'. Many e-mails were sent back and forth to get the right colour combination and flower content for their chosen main colour of aqua.
The bridal bouquet was a simple mix of baby pink germini and a very pale pink peony tied together with aqua ribbon.
The four bridesmaids each carried a small hand-tie of a mix of seasonal flowers in baby pink and ivory including germini, freesia, sweet williams and stallion chrysants tied together with aqua ribbon.
Jayne also wore a small slide in her hair adorned with hydrangea florets, sweet william, freesia and germini petals.
The groom wore a traditional double buttonhole of a germini and peony taken from the brides bouquet. The foliage is salal and rosemary.
All the groomsmen wore a single germini with a salal leaf.
The mums each wore a corsage of freesia, sweet williams, stallion and germini petals with salal and rosemary.
I was also asked to make a small cake topper of germini and peony.
 The lovely simple designed cake.
