Ivory and Black wedding Flowers
February 23, 2015This is a trial to see if I can get all posts off my 'new' blog back on to here, it's looking good. A great wedding to start,
Lauren and Dan’s wedding was Christmas 2013 but it was such a lovely set up that I had to share. A photo of one of their candelabra displays also gave my business a boost as it was this tweet that Theo Paphitis picked out on his #SBS (small business Sunday) a couple of weeks later.
Lauren wanted to keep her flowers fairly simple and in keeping with her black and white theme. We chose ivory roses and black skeleton leaves with black lily grass for the loops. The stems were bound with black satin ribbon.
The mums wore a matching corsage of an ivory rose and spray roses with black lily grass and black lace trim.
The men all wore an ivory rose buttonhole with black lily grass.
The bridesmaids each carried a similar but smaller bouquet to the bride.
Their reception venue was The Old Barn at Marston which was dressed in black and white.
The top table had a long and low design of a mix of ivory and white flowers with black and variegated foliage.

The guest tables each had a 100cm candelabra with pure white candles. These were dressed with a central display in flowers to match the top table.
The Old Barn ready and waiting for the bridal party to arrive.
I also provided ‘Thank you’ flowers to be given during the speeches.
