This wedding was one of my favorites from last year. I loved the ideas from the beginning. Always great to have a different colour scheme to work with.
Shower bouquets are getting more popular and work with a variety of styles of wedding dress. This one is so pretty, lots of differing shades of blue with a hint of yellow in a variety of spring/early summer flowers.
We have yellow lilies and tulips with blue iris, nigella, bluebells, forget-me-nots and delphiniums and ivy and fern foliage.
The bridesmaids who wore blue dresses carried yellow hand tie bouquets of lilies, chyrsants, freesia and tulips with asparagus fern.
The flower girls carried a silver heart shaped wand with a yellow tulip, freesia and chrysant flower
The groom wore a lovely buttonhole of an Iris with Nigella, delphinium florets and forget-me-nots.
The groomsmen wore very similar but slightly smaller versions
The mums wore a corsage of yellow and blue, including tulips, freesia, chrysants, nigella, bluebell and delphiniums
While other bridal party guests wore buttonholes of 3 tulips and forget-me-nots
and the page boys wore a single tulip version.
The cake was adorned with fresh flowers of a mixture of the blue varieties
each expertly added by the lovely Beckie of Bake Your Day
The top table at The Old Palace had its own display, a long and low design of a mixture as the brides bouquet
We also provided some small thank you bouquets in the wedding colours to give out during the speeches.
If you like any of these designs and are getting married in or around Lincolnshire or surrounding counties please give me a call to discuss your own wedding flowers.
