White gerbera wedding

A lovely gerbera wedding I was thrilled to be asked to provide flowers for from the weekend.
Julie knew what she wanted when she first met me at a wedding fair and fortunately I had a very similar bouquet on my stand.
The bride's bouquet was gorgeous black centred gerberas with lilac roses, gyp, cuscus foliage and bear grass loops.

We added some sparkle with diamante pins in the roses

Julie had 5 bridesmaids in total, all different ages, so we went all gerberas for the older ladies, mimicking the bride with cuscus foliage and bear grass loops.

The younger maids had a smaller bouquet in the same style

and lastly the flower girl carried a single gerbera with bear grass loops and ribbon trails.

We also provided 6 groomsmen buttonholes, similar in style to this one (I forgot to take photos)

and also ladies buttonholes.

If you love gerberas and would like to include them in your wedding flowers, either as one of many blooms or on their own, please get in touch to discuss your options. We love gerberas here at The Studio and are always happy to provide them for your bouquets (unlike many florists!) and buttonholes. Many will tell you they won't withstand the day, but we have done many gerbera weddings over the years without problem.
For more of our designs go to 'labels' on the right and scroll to 'gerbera'.

We look forward to hearing from you soon
