Blue hydrangea and gyp wedding

Way back last April I designed Helen's flowers for her wedding at Norwood Park. The above photo has been provided by Helen as I didn't get chance to take a photo of her bouquet myself.
This was a lovely design of a blue hydrangea head surrounded by a mass of gyp. The stems were bound with satin ribbon.
The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at Norwood Park, the first time I have been to this venue and it is a stunning place. Well set back from the road and you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. Even though the weather wasn't great when we set up the grounds still looked stunning and being met with a huge roaring log fire in the entrance is an image that has stayed with me.
The design above was for the large mantelpiece in the ceremony room and would later be transferred to the top table.
The whole fireplace in the ceremony room with the design of blue hydrangeas, ivory roses and gyp.
The guest table centerpieces were 3 hydrangea heads in a glass cube. Simple yet effective.

Norwood Park ready and waiting for the bride and groom.
